First, ITTV enjoyed success at the 2022 Venice International Film Festival. Then, we returned to Los Angeles in November with a program of innovation and excitement.

  • Star-studded closing celebration, red carpet, and awards ceremony honoring Italy and Hollywood’s biggest talents, including champion soccer player Giorgio Chiellini, legendary director Mario Martone, and Academy Award winners Taylor Hackford and Helen Mirren
NEW IN 2022
  • Tech in Entertainment: New technologies bring new possibilities to film and TV.  ITTV brought together industry leaders to discuss how innovations like blockchain-based distribution, VR, AR, and Metaverse can revolutionize the industry.
  • Rai Fiction Day: Rai Fiction, Italy’s premier producer of original content, unveiled three never-before-seen pilots: Survivors, Vincenzo Malinconico, and Flowers Over the Inferno.
  • Sky and Fremantle presented exclusive new video content.
HONOREES 2022
  • Over 200 guests danced and celebrated at the ITTV Los Angeles closing party. Extra TV covered the celebrity red carpet.
  • The ITTV Awards ceremony honored some of Italy and Hollywood’s biggest talents:
  • ITTV | Ecoflix Award: Actress Elisabetta Canalis received the award on behalf of Ecoflix, the first streaming service to dedicate a portion of its profits to environmental justice and animal rights.
  • Champion soccer player Giorgio Chiellini took home the ITTV | Sports Award.
  • ITTV bestowed Italian director Mario Martone and V Channels founder Niccolò Messina with honors.
  • Frances Fisher, actress and activist, took home the ITTV | Kinéo Prize, recognizing her work for human rights.
  • ITTV Couples Award went to Oscar winners Taylor Hackford and Helen Mirren.
